TPT Seller Spotlight and Giveaway

I cannot tell you how honored and lucky I feel to be featured in the Seller's Spotlight for the Teachers Pay Teachers newsletter this week - what a wonderful recognition this is, with a company that I am so connected to.  Thank you to all of you for your friendships and support!
I was excited to promote my bundles from my store that include many many pages of one subject and grade level :) It really helped me to connect the material and create for the grade level and students I was teaching at that time.

Read Across America

Don't you just love that face?  We celebrated Read Across America last week in our K/1 classroom... and we had a lot of fun :) Besides making these adorable hats and ties, we also ate some green eggs and ham.  My favorite part?  The kiddos that didn't think they would like green eggs.. and they did ;)
Making these Thing 1 and Thing 2 puppets are one of my favorite activities to do on Dr. Seuss's birthday :) It is easy, and the kids love them!
I found these really cute Dr. Seuss pencil topper erasers, and after printing out a Dr. Seuss quote/picture tag from Cupcake Express, I placed them in a small baggie with their eraser.  Just a cute little something to end the celebration!

St. Patrick's Day is coming up! I have to tell you, The Teacher Wife has a wonderful freebie on TPT about who is worth more to you than gold?  It was a meaningful writing for my kids to complete so they could focus on the important things in life which was their family, friends, even their teacher ;) I loved reading each of them!
In my classroom, we have also been doing a lot of fun book projects.  I wrote up an ending prediction form for each student, and found this wonderful template on TPT of "A Bad Case of Stripes" by David Shannon.  Such a fun book!

I hope you are all having a great March :)

March Currently

So excited to link up with Farley's March Currently :] How did I miss the beginning of March yesterday and forget about Currently?! And on a Sunday to top it off.. I need to get on top of it ;)
Definitely going to be a busy month, but I am excited.  My spirits are lifted as the warmer weather approaches after this very long, harsh winter.  I also need to get more motivated about being healthy.. did you see how many weddings I have?! I am in 2 of them - very exciting! But I want to look my best.. especially when the warmer weather comes.

Spring Break is in about a month... I can't wait to clean a little, organize, and have some time for myself.  :)
