Spring break = Wisdom teeth removal

Well, my 4 wisdom teeth are gone! They were extracted Thursday, my first day of spring break.  I am overwhelmed with joy [insert sarcasm here].  I must say that my oral surgeon and assistants were wonderful, as well as my supportive boyfriend and family.  My pain out of 10 was probably a 3 on Day 1, a 9 on Day 2 [that was rough], and a 5ish on Day 3 [today].  I am glad I did all 4 at once!
I was expecting it to go easy [which day one was] but holy cow, I am ready for the pain to be over with.  I have been just on my kindle and watching tv all day for the last 3 days... and trying to sleep but that is difficult for me to do.  It kind of reminds me of the pain I used to get when I would get my braces tightened [only a lot worse of course] but it is that same feeling.  Trust me when I say when I feel a little bit better over the week, I WILL be doing something fun! Appreciate your health every second you have it!! :)
I am joining in with my friends for a Spring Sale on TPT and TN... 20% off all of my products.  Please make sure you check it out!!
XOXO Have a wonderful night!

I just had to post what my wonderful friend Heather bought for me for Easter... she's a doll.
Hers is the one on the left, mine is the one on the right.  I am her sunshine :] It was such a sweet gift and it helped me feel better about my wisdom teeth experience.
Like these bracelets? I can't wait to show you where I got them.. there will be a whole post dedicated to a very talented jewelry creator - coming soon! :]

    1. Thank you sweetie, I pray I will feel better! Did you just get yours out or you mean you have had them out so you know the experience? Either way, I hope you were/are okay!!

  2. Feel better soon, Laura!! Thank you for the sweet email about our pug:( I remember you posting about your pug and that she was fawn colored just like Asia. They are such loving dogs and I know you can relate as a pug lover:) On a walk today we ran into a guy that was walking his pug (looked identical to Asia) and we stopped and talked awhile while loving on that pug. It was like Asia was smiling (snorting...haha!) down on us from above.
    Sending hugs and healing thoughts!

    1. Haha love the snorts! Honestly I think pugs are the funniest and "neediest" dogs ever... they love you and want to be with you (and on you) every second! We have Zoey now (at my parents) and I love her so much too... there are so many pugs that look alike too, isn't there? So whatever you can to heal and surround yourself with loved ones xoxo I will be thinking of you!!

  3. Oh boy, do I remember that pain! I was only 18 when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, so I think I was a little more tolerant. I think I would cry like a baby if it happened now. Here's to your speedy recovery! You'll look forward to sucking out of a straw, though! Heehee

  5. I always cringe at the thought of tooth extraction. Honestly, I don't think anyone really enjoys being in the dentist, it's just that we have to. Haha! Oh, well! I'm just at ease right now that I don't need any tooth extraction soon, or ever! I hope you're feeling better now. :)

  6. You’re brave, Laura! Taking out four wisdom teeth all at once has a pretty painful effect afterward. And your pain only lasted for 3 days. That’s relatively fast. When I had my four wisdom teeth removed, I underwent two surgeries – two teeth per surgery. I was in pain for almost 5 days. #Heike Forrester

  7. You got four teeth extracted on the first day of spring break? Wohoho! Must have been a bummer that you had to stay home and watch tv all day because of the pain. But that is naturally part of it - the pain, I mean. Didn't your dentist recommend any pain reliever? On a lighter note, at least you and your friends were able to join the Spring Sale.
