Currently & Get Together

I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and as the school year is coming to a close, I hope you find time to relax and do all the things you enjoy.  Please please please keep in touch! I will be blogging often :)

Don't you just love Farley? She is so great, what a fun and free spirit, and I love her Currently Linky Parties every month because it really gets me to reflect my month and think about the good things in life.  Goodness, I have many bridal showers and weddings to go to this year -- more than I ever have in my life.  I think it's just my age and that time where everyone is getting married <3

I am so tired and I just need some SLEEP after the school year is over with... I really do need to stay on the ball with making and money and working hard this summer.  There hasn't been a summer since high school where I haven't worked my butt off, but it's what I need to do!! Hopefully making lots of teacher products as well... I am open to any suggestions at any grade level :)

Blogging Get Together this Saturday!! <3 Very excited.. check out Little Literacy Learner's post for more details :) Second Grade is Splendid created the event, and I am so glad she did.  I couldn't ask for a better coworker.

State Testing

Wow, it's been a long week.  We are just finishing up our IOWA State Testing - The longest test ever! I am very proud of my students for getting through it because I almost felt like I wouldn't survive reading all the directions and everything.  For the most part they are doing well, but for the short timed parts (for example, math computation) they are having difficulty.  Anyone have any tips to speed their time besides taking timed test after timed test? We did try this, but since it was a "state test", I think they wanted to do so well that they took their time (a little too much). 

Regardless, I am proud of them and they will be getting ice cream and mini cupcakes tomorrow from me :) I hate how stressed out kids can get over these things, but I am glad that they will be over tomorrow.  Does anyone else take the IOWA tests?

I am excited to say that me and Second Grade is Spendid are going to get mani/pedis tomorrow.. it's been a while since I treated myself, and it is definitely the week to do it!

Multiplication Freebie

I wish I had more time in the day because I would continue to make teacher products all day long! I haven't posted a freebie in a while, so I whipped this multiplication one up :)
It includes 4 worksheets: multiplying by 10 and 100's, multiplication matching, fluency, and a basic worksheet showing the relationship between multiplication and the commutative property.
